Ezequiel Cerrini has been a driving force at A&S for the past 2.5 years as the Business Development Lead. What's your main goal for the company as A&S's Business Development lead?

As the Business Development lead at A&S, my primary goal is to drive sustainable growth and enhance our market presence by forging strong relationships with real estate professionals, investors, and our clients as well as real estate operators who have not worked with us in the past. This involves identifying new business opportunities, expanding our client base, and positioning A&S as a preferred lender through exceptional service and tailored financing solutions.

What do you think are the key advantages for borrowers and investors in working with A&S?

At A&S we pride ourselves on being a relationship-based firm, our dynamic involves really knowing, and forming a relationship with our clients & investors. That being said, borrowers and investors will benefit from always talking to the decision makers which is the formula towards A&S’s tailored loan solutions, quick processing, and exceptional customer service. Our strong industry connections and use of innovative technology also provide valuable resources and opportunities, making us a preferred partner in the real estate market.

How have you been navigating the challenges the industry has faced recently?

To navigate recent industry challenges, we’ve focused on adapting to market fluctuations by updating our loan products and staying agile. Strengthening relationships with real estate professionals and investors has been key, as has enhancing our risk management and due diligence processes. 

A&S has recently added new products to its offerings. Can you give us your perspective on the opportunities this brings to the table?

Correct! Earlier this year, we began to slowly roll out our brand new DSCR product, which is a product that has been around the industry for the past few years and has gained a lot of traction. Offering permanent/long-term debt is a complete first for us as a company, as we are strictly known for our Multifamily Bridge program. Having new offerings has given us access to new business, and also extra tools to be able to provide to our existing clients.

What kinds of deals will A&S be focusing on in the second half of the year? 

In line with what we've previously discussed, as we navigate the current market we are trying to work with experienced operators on simple value-add multifamily deals. As well as gaining traction on both our Fix & Flip and DSCR programs.
